Introduction given by Archbishop Denis Hart at the Vespers Graduation of the John Paul II Institute at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne

Tuesday, 5th April 2016

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Together with the Director, Bishop Elliott, the Dean and Faculty members and all associated with the John Paul II Institute, I welcome you to this celebration of Graduation.

It is a time when young people formed according to the Gospel and with a truly Catholic vision come to bring their gifts, carrying them forward into their chosen profession for which we join in this service of prayer and thanksgiving.

I congratulate the graduands, I thank once again the gifted and dedicated work of the Faculty and I rejoice in all the achievements of the John Paul II Institute as this graduation ceremony proceeds as a moment of praise and thanksgiving to God.

Bishop Elliott later will give the occasional address......
