Current Issue: Volume 17, Issue 19Pope's delegation arrives in Sydney A three-person Papal delegation arrived in Sydney recently to begin reviewing preparations for World Youth Day 2008 (WYD08). The delegation was lead by Archbishop Stanislaw Rylko, President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity (PCL), the body that oversees World Youth Day preparations and promotes the initiative globally. PCL secretary Bishop Josef Clemens and Dr Marcello Bedeschi, a PCL member and President of the Youth Church Hope Foundation of Rome, accompanied Archbishop Rylko.

RECENTLY I FOUND MYSELF sitting in our mighty MCG, partaking in the weekly Melbourne tradition of ‘Friday night footy.’ And a truly inspirational match too. The Magpies downed the Doggies by 34 points! The third quarter was a bit shaky, mind you, but the win adds to what’s shaping up to be an amazing season for the ‘Pies – thus far anyway.
