The Archbishop welcomed them and led the reflection, which included two scripture readings (John 1:35-39 and Ephesians 1:15-19). Archbishop Hart then proceeded to ask the group about their experiences going through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), what has attracted them to Catholic faith and how they feel Jesus' presence in their daily lives.

‘I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, and for this reason I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.’
- Ephesians 1:15-16

The meeting encouraged all of the catechumens, who came from all walks of life and ages. The Archbishop also blessed the catechumens, who stayed for afternoon tea and light refreshments.
