To gain some insight into the daily realities faced by displaced people, we spoke to Sr Rita Malavisi, rsj, long-term volunteer with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) and recent winner of the National Volunteer of the Year Award from the Fundraising Institute of Australia for her fundraising efforts for the ASRC.
