Youth, vocation and the future: in conversation with Leeanne Grima

As Australia’s youth of today continue to find their place in the world, Vocation Directors from around the country and are looking to better understand young people and learn how to draw them towards religious life.

Leeanne Grima, Relationship and Development Officer at the Archdiocesan Office for Youth, met with a group of Vocation Directors in July to contextualise the lives and experiences of young Australians and offer an intriguing insight into what drives and motivates different generations.

Leeanne’s snapshot of Australia’s youth provides an interesting look at who may be soon approaching vocations, where they come from and how they interact with their faith.

Shane Healy, the Archdiocesan Director of Media and Communications, sat down with Leeanne to explore the topic further.
