We encourage you to connect with Christ in commemoration of his death and resurrection this coming week, starting with Palm Sunday at St Patrick’s Cathedral. “I want to pray for all of the priests, the creativity of priests,” Pope Francis said in his March 15 Angelus address, referring to stories of priests in Italy’s northern Lombardy region, “who think of a thousand ways to be with the people so that the people don’t feel alone.” Lombardy is the center of the country’s COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, but the bans on mass gatherings are now a global phenomenon.
