St Patrick in the Cathedral

THE first image of St Patrick we encounter at St Patrick’s Cathedral, when climbing the steps at the main west entrance, is the centrepiece of the bronze tracery grille above the entrance gates. Here St Patrick is flanked by the two other Irish patron saints: Columba and Brigid.
