Sunbury Parish is going to great lengths to create a campaign to build awareness for the Plenary Council 2020 throughout both the Catholic and broader Sunbury community.

As part of their Plenary Council awareness campaign, the Sunbury Parish planning committee have sent out 16,500 letters throughout surrounding suburbs and have installed large billboards in key areas encouraging people to take part and voice their thoughts on the Plenary website. Additionally, the group set up email mailouts and surveys to encourage as many Sunbury community members to have their say.
Melbourne Catholic spoke to key members of the parish involved in the campaign including Parish Secretary Jo Spiteri, Parish Planning Committee Coordinator Jim Foran, and Fr McIntosh about the campaign.
