PRESIDENT of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference Archbishop Denis Hart will launch the new Catholic Worship Book II on Friday 8 April at the Catholic Leadership Centre in East Melbourne. 

Catholic Worship Book II is an exciting milestone for the Australian Church. It is a joint project of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference and the National Liturgical Music Board of the Bishops Commission on Liturgy. Australia’s bishops have commended the book for use in parishes, schools and religious communities in Australia.

The Caritas Australia supported program is being highlighted nationally during Project Compassion, one of Australia’s largest humanitarian fundraising and awareness raising campaigns. Last year the appeal raised nearly $11.7 million for Caritas Australia, which works to end poverty, promote justice and uphold the dignity of people in over 33 countries across Asia, Latin America, the Pacific and with the First Australians.
