Nathan Schneider speaks with Shane Healy

NATHAN SCHNEIDER is a writer, editor, and professor of media studies at the University of Colorado Boulder in the United States. He is the author of God in Proof: The Story of a Search from the Ancients to the Internet (2013) and was one of the first journalists to cover the Occupy (Wall Street) Movement in 2011. Nathan is the co-founder of Waging Nonviolence, a source for original news and analysis about struggles for justice and peace around the globe.

Nathan is currently in Melbourne as a guest of the Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation and he took some time out this morning to have a chat with Shane Healy, Director of the Archdiocese’s Media and Communications Office. In this short video Nathan talks about his conversion from Judaism to Catholicism, the significance of the Jubilee Year of Mercy, Laudato Si’, and his book God in Proof, which is a history of the proofs for God’s existence.
