Archbishop Peter receives pallium in Rome

Archbishop Peter A Comensoli has received the pallium at the Mass for the Feast of Sts Peter and Paul at St Peter’s Basillica in Rome on Saturday. The pallium is a white woollen strip, worn around the neck in liturgical functions, symbolising the union between a metropolitan archbishop and the Bishop of Rome. Desmond O'Grady witnessed the ceremony and discussed its significance with Archbishop Comensoli.

Prep students from Corpus Christi Primary School in Werribee have passed on a special message to Pope Francis this week through Bishop Mark Edwards. 
Bishop Edwards and almost 40 other Australian bishops are in Rome this week for their Ad Limina Apostolorum visit or to the Threshold of the Apostles
